Over the past few weeks we have had a couple of beginners at the club wanting help and wanting to learn to fly. Now without a doubt we do this, but a few have bought equipment we have had problems working with. Unfortunately LARCS is a predominantly JR/Spectrum and mode 1 club. We are working to reslove this but recently we have had a few people we have not been able to help and have sent them away disappointed.

To the beginners wanting to get into the hobby please feel free to come to the club and ask for 1 of the instructors or other senior members and we will go through what we recommend to get you in the air in the shortest time. We also have a number of club trainers sponsered by local hobby shops and our members that are avilable for a "Try before you Buy". Contact 1 of the commitee on the contacts page and they will have this arranged and put you in contact with an instructor.

Remember, Safe flying is no accident!!!
